PREMIER EVENT: LATAM Regional Finals 2018
It’s coming down to the wire with only a few events remaining in the 2018 Capcom Pro Tour season! A last minute race is on to gather enough points to qualify for Capcom Cup or to improve their placement in the standings for seeding purposes. The LATAM Regional Finals 2018, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 3rd, will feature players from not just Latin America but from around the world for just those reasons. It’s going to be a thrilling event so see below for information on watching the event live this weekend!
A Regional Final works a bit differently than a standard Premier Event in that it’s really two events in one. The first event is the Regional Final Open Tournament that anyone can enter. Global and Regional Ranking Points will be awarded for top 48 placements. See the Rules page for full details.
The second event will be the Regional Final Tournament which will be composed of the top 8 players from the CPT Latin America leaderboard! The winner of this event will be crowned the Regional Champion and will be awarded an automatic qualification for Capcom Cup 2018 (If they aren’t already qualified via points)!
